1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the University of Rwanda Application Portal, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this portal.

2. Eligibility

To use this portal, you must:

• Have a valid Applicant ID from the UR MIS system
• Meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the programs you apply to
• Be at least 16 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• Provide accurate and truthful information

3. User Account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your contact information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Application Submission

By submitting an application, you certify that:

• All information provided is true, complete, and accurate
• All documents submitted are genuine and unaltered
• You understand that false information may result in rejection or dismissal
• Application fees are non-refundable once processed

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use another person's identity or credentials
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system
• Upload malicious software or harmful content
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the portal
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this portal, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of the University of Rwanda and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer

The portal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The portal will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected immediately
• The portal is free of viruses or harmful components

8. Limitation of Liability

The University of Rwanda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this portal, including but not limited to loss of data, missed deadlines, or technical failures.

9. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this portal. Your continued use of the portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Rwanda.
